Here's our pick for the Thursday game.
Indianapolis @ Jacksonville 8:20pm ET
James: Thursdays sneak up on me every damn week. Doesn't the NFL know I'm busy?! Anywho, let's just get to the picks.
This game is such a coinflip it's not even funny. Will the Colts rest their starters or won't they? Will they play one half? Three quarters? Nobody knows. And personally, that is killing me because I have Colts on my Oratory Football League team that I need to decide on starting or not. (Hi, Reggie Wayne and Pierre Garcon.) The Jags are the kind of team that can totally no-show or bust you in the mouth on any given week. But more often than not, they play the Colts extremely tough. I'm going to pick Indianapolis, but I don't think anyone can make a solid, surefire prediction on this game. Indianapolis 21 -- Jacksonville 17
Matt: The Jags can be a tough team any week, but they tend to fall apart when the pressure is on. As has been said for many weeks now, I do think that the upset is a strong possibility. Divisional road games are always tough. The Colts could begin resting key players which could give the Jaguars a much needed win for the wildcard race. Iím thinking that the Colts once again do just enough to win. Colts 22-20
John: I'm not going against the Colts while they are playing their starters. I think the Jags have overachieved and there's no reason for Indy to lay down. Too much Peyton Manning picking a part an average Jags defense in this one. Colts 23-14
I don't think I'll have time to edit Matt's in before the game, so we'll cover it when we post the rest of the games tomorrow.
